Plain and Fancy

Have you ever heard of a ‘Mud Sale?” They are quite popular in Lancaster County, PA, as fundraisers for our volunteer fire departments. They are held in the spring, and often the grounds are quite muddy, hence the name. The Amish are very involved in the fire departments, it being one of the many ways they give back to the community. These Amish boys were taking a break next to this intricate cart: Plain and Fancy.
